THE LATEST NEWS, UPDATES AND ANNOUNCEMENTS

Traditionally a quiet month for all within the investigations sector has enabled us to focus on expanding our client portfolio and engaging with new clients to assess how we can best support their needs.

As we continue to raise standards within the Covert Surveillance industry, which remains largely un-regulated, we have been welcomed into the British Surveillance Association as a corporate member. The Association aims to be the go-to Gold standard for Covert Surveillance providers where all prospective clients can check that the supplier they are looking to use is registered.

We have also requested meetings with the Shadow Home Secretary (Chris Philip MP), the Security Minster (Dan Jarvis MP) and the Permanent Under Secretary for violence against women and girls (Jess Phillips MP) to ensure the industry is properly regulated and those being deployed are properly vetted. We await their answers via email, but we strongly believe change is needed to ensure all deployments are legal and ethical whilst protecting the most vulnerable in our society.

On the 2nd of April we will be in Central London attending the launch of the Westminster Business Councils Hospitality Network supported by Fidelity Energy. This will showcase our capability around the provision of Covert Behaviour Detection officers to make people, venues and spaces safer. We are currently the ONLY accredited covert behaviour detection team in the UK.

April also brings meetings with local authorities to see how we can help in the fight against retail crime and antisocial behaviour. Our covert teams have a proven track record of identifying those who commit crime and obtaining sufficiency of evidence to support prosecutions. In our view the days of ‘getting away with it’ are over – you commit crime, you pay the price through all available legal means.

We recently posted on LinkedIn about why we are not the best. This was in response to client questions. Here was our reply;

We never claim to be any better we are just different.
We deploy people who have years of experience in covert deployments for Government agencies on counter-terrorism, kidnap, threat to life, drug importation, burglary and firearms investigations. In the private sector we have years of experience on fraud, insurance fraud, copyright infringement, theft and other crime deployments. From planning through to post deployment reporting we have a unique approach. Not better, just different.

Happy Spring Time Everyone
