COUNTER SURVEILLANCE 2025
Situation
A high net worth individual was identified as being at risk from a known threat before they arrived in the UK. With just 48 hours to prepare, we at Soteria Covert Solutions Ltd, conducted a rapid, intelligence-led counter surveillance operation to ensure a seamless and secure visit.
Task
To provide real time intelligence to form a dynamic risk assessment that would inform how the close protection team would approach their role and to identify hostile actors that may pose a risk to the individual.
Action
Risk Assessment and Intelligence gathering; We conducted a recce of the operational environment and utilised open source intelligence to establish behavioural baselines. We established collaboration via a memorandum of understanding with law enforcement.
Legal and Operational readiness; We secured independent surveillance authority for legally robust intelligence gathering. We prepared detailed risk assessments and briefing packs for deploying personnel.
Covert Deployment & Threat Mitigation
We deployed covert assets to monitor potential threats before clients arrival. Created a sterile zone we tracked anu unusual behavioural patterns. Delivering a continuous 24/7 covert coverage enabling us to provide real-time intelligence updates to law enforcement partners.
Result
Our deployment enabled threats to be neutralised whilst strengthening security collaboration between private intelligence and law enforcement. Client placed at the heart of our approach and delivery allowing them to have a seamless and disruption free visit.
