COVERT SURVEILLANCE 2025

Situation

We were approached by a local authority to covertly identify those responsible for committing high volume crime and responsible for anti-social behaviour within a small geographical area.

Task

To provide legally compliant surveillance product that provides evidence of wrongdoing and to provide identification, where reasonable to do so, of those responsible.

Action

We liaised with the relevant authority to ensure all pro-active activity we planned to undertake were lawful, actionable, necessary, proportionate to the aims they sought to achieve and appropriate. Developing an action plan that reduced risk but maximised evidential opportunities we deployed covert assets to a defined geographical area. These assets were supported by highly trained and experienced surveillance staff to gather irrefutable evidence of wrongdoing and to capture sufficiency of evidence to provide positive identification of those suspects.

Result

High quality imagery supported by surveillance logs, witness statements and evidence continuity gathered during a prolonged operation led to the identification of a number of suspects. This was presented to the client in a court ready bundle.
